Water Hygiene Technician - Stafford

As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Water Hygiene Technician to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a motivated, dependable and committed Water Hygiene Technician to join our team. As a member of the Water Hygiene Team, it is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as having the capabilities to work independently. Due to the nature of the job, travelling will be part of your day to day role.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
* Water temperature checks
* Shower disinfections
* Water sampling and analysis
* Water outlet flushing
* Water tank inspections
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
* Self organisation and motivation
* Ability to work on your own in often remote settings
* Willingness to travel throughout the region to delivery services to client
* Accurately acquire data and report back
* Work with and report to clients
* Strong use and adaption to new technology and software
* Strong communication
Must be based in Cheshire or Staffordshire and requires 1 week per month working away from home
This role is subject to initial and ongoing background checks, not exhaustive:
* Enhanced DBS
* MoD background check
* BPSS
