The role

<div><h3>Salary and Contract</h3><p>Grade H SCP 27 £38,220 – SCP 31 £41,771 plus Essential Car User Allowance up to £963 pa and 7% role enhancement.</p><p>Contract: 2 Permanent positions, 37 hours per week.</p><h3>Key Requirements</h3><ul><li>Essential: Driving Licence, DBS clearance.</li><li>Essential Qualification: Minimum level 4 qualification in a relevant subject such as Child Development, Health and Social Care.</li></ul><h3>The Role</h3><p>The Family Group Conference (FGC) Worker will deliver and support the Family Group Conference approach within the Family Help Service. Responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Delivering and moderating Family Group Conference sessions with children and families, ensuring meetings are organised in the best interests of children.</li><li>Supporting the embedding of a wider Family Network approach.</li></ul><p>This role requires evening and weekend work to meet the needs of the service.</p><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Passionate and experienced worker with an understanding of working with children and families.</li><li>Experience of Family Group Decision‑Making, Family Group Conference and Family Network approaches in practice.</li><li>Experience utilising restorative approaches with families and integrated working with Children’s Services.</li><li>Team player who uses initiative and embraces creative, strengths‑based approaches.</li></ul><h3>Application</h3><p>Applications that rely too heavily on AI may be rejected during shortlisting.
