SEN Teaching Assistant – Enfield

Salary: £90–£100 per day

An Enfield primary school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with autism. This role requires consistency, care, and a proactive approach to helping a child succeed both academically and emotionally.
Your responsibilities:
Supporting the child’s learning in the classroom and during transitions
Building a positive, trusting relationship to promote independence and confidence
Working closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external professionals
Assisting with tailored learning plans and sensory activities
Helping the child manage routines and regulate emotions

What we’re looking for:
Previous SEND experience or transferable skills from care, youth work, or education
A calm, patient approach and excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
