JOB REF: VAF178: PART-TIME PLACEMENT OFFICER (EARLY YEARS & SCHOOLS) – £16,730 - £17,290 per annum, pro rata to £27,513 - £28,433 per annum dependent on qualifications & experience. 22.5 hours per week, temporary up to 1 year to cover Maternity Leave.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the high performing ‘Early Years and Schools Curriculum Area’ at Boston College.
You need to have a passion for Early Years, current up-to-date experience of working in the sector, hold a minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years, alongside the Assessors Award, and have an enthusiastic commitment to share your knowledge and experience with learners.
The successful candidate will assess learners’ competency in the workplace and teach placement elements across Level 2/3 courses within the Early Years’ department. Some experience of teaching or leading training sessions would be desirable however not essential. You will be supported through training and ongoing professional development to help you become an outstanding Placement Officer. This role offers a new career pathway for someone with high levels of professionalism and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must as the successful candidate will be responsible for forming and maintaining effective, professional working relationships with a range of early years settings.
