Mechanical Engineer
Location: Westminster, London
Hours: This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. 9am - 6pm
Salary: On offer is a salary banding of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
The successful candidate will be required to have proven previous experience of planned preventative and reactive maintenance and their primary task will be to perform works on mechanical systems; including plumbing, air conditioning, pressure systems and will be required to assist the team with building fabric and electrical systems
Effectively performing maintenance of a range of assets, through following a PPM schedule and ensuring compliance in a flexible and efficient manner
Manage any reactive tasks that get raised, from diagnosis through to sourcing parts and on to completion
Working as first line response to any reactive call-out, ensuring that you are always working safely and to the Approved Codes of Practice for the relevant service you are carrying out
Working with various different parties, including specialist subcontractors in order to deliver work to the highest of standards for our clients. You must be able to demonstrate that you are aware of best working practices and that you are following them at all timesWhat's on offer?

City & Guilds or equivalent NVQ in plumbing preferable
City & Guilds or equivalent NVG in mechanical engineering
Knowledge and previous experience of building services
18th Edition Wiring regulations
Ability to act on own initiative
Full Clean Driving licence
Ability to work with different people
