Healthcare Business Analyst – Clinical Systems
Location: Hybrid – Bath (onsite required)
Security Clearance: Active UK Security Clearance required
We are supporting the search for an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst to support the procurement and implementation of a dental clinical system within MOD Defence Medical Services.
This role will act as the bridge between clinical teams and technical delivery, ensuring the system supports patient care, improves operational workflows, and meets regulatory and clinical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead requirements gathering workshops with clinicians and operational stakeholders.
* Analyse and document “as-is” and “to-be” clinical workflows to support system implementation.
* Translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories for technical teams.
* Support procurement activities, including documentation, vendor engagement, and evaluation.
* Develop test plans and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
* Provide implementation support, training coordination, and go-live assistance.
Required Experience
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst within healthcare or clinical system environments.
* Strong knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and healthcare workflows.
* Experience working on digital transformation or clinical system implementations.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with both clinical and non-clinical teams.
* Experience with process mapping, requirements documentation, and business change activities.
Desirable
* Experience working with dental systems or dental services.
* Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, SNOMED).
* Previous experience supporting government, NHS, or defence healthcare programmes.
* Certifications such as BCS Business Analysis, CBAP, PRINCE2 or PMP.
Hybrid role based in Bath – candidates must hold active UK Security Clearance.
