Digital Content Executive (Web)
Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Executive to join a well established, global brand in the energy and sustainability space. This role will suit someone early in their career who is looking to develop their skills in digital content, website management and campaign delivery within a supportive and collaborative marketing team.
This is a hands on role focused on managing and improving website content, working closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure the brand's digital platforms are accurate, engaging and customer focused.
Role
The business is looking for a Digital Content Executive to support the day to day management of website content and digital projects. You will work closely with a senior digital lead, sit in a wider marketing team, and help to deliver new content, landing pages and website improvements while gaining exposure to performance, optimisation and user journey.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who has recently completed a graduate scheme, degree or internship and wants to build a long term career in digital.
Responsibilities
Website & Content Management
Upload, update and maintain website content using a CMS.
Support the creation and publishing of landing pages.
Manage and update press releases and campaign content.
Ensure content accuracy, consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
Work with internal teams to gather and implement content updates.
Content Creation
Write and edit digital content, including website copy and campaign messaging.
Support the development of new content ideas and customer journeys.
Ensure content is engaging, clear and user focused.
Project Support
Support delivery of key website and digital projects.
Liaise with agencies and external partners to ensure content is delivered on time.
Assist with planning and implementing improvements to digital platforms.
Performance & Optimisation
Monitor basic website performance and user behaviour.
Support ongoing improvements to customer journey and engagement.
Work with the wider marketing team to implement content based insights.
Requirements
Degree or relevant education in marketing, digital, communications or similar.
Initial experience in digital, content, marketing or website support through internships, placements or early career roles.
Exposure to content management systems is beneficial.
Strong written communication and attention to detail.
Organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
Interest in digital, content and customer experience.
Nice to have
Basic SEO knowledge.
Exposure to HTML or image editing tools.
Salary:
£24,000 - £25,000 per annum
Location: Belper, Derbyshire
