Overview
We are seeking a strategic and commercially astute Head of Group Risk to lead and evolve our Group Risk proposition in line with client needs and market developments. This is a senior leadership role within the Corporate Consulting function, responsible for proposition development, client delivery, and team leadership.
As a member of the Corporate Consulting Leadership Team (CCLT), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the wider consulting business, driving revenue growth, and ensuring excellence in client service.
How you\'ll make an impact
* Proposition Leadership – Own and develop the Group Risk proposition, ensuring it remains market-leading and compliant with all relevant legislation and regulation; Lead the proposition team, providing subject matter expertise and strategic direction; Oversee financial performance, pricing, and commercial delivery; Act as a secondary PR spokesperson and support marketing initiatives
* Client Account Management & Growth – Manage a portfolio of key clients, ensuring high levels of retention and satisfaction; Collaborate with Client Team Leads to identify cross-sell opportunities and support new business development; Lead and support RFP responses and pricing for new opportunities; Provide strategic input into client allocation and account planning
* People Leadership – Line manage the proposition team, including recruitment, performance management, and development; Set goals and assess performance in collaboration with Client Team Leads; Drive utilisation, training, and career progression across the team
About You
Skills & Experience
* Proven leadership experience in a Corporate Consulting or provider environment
* Deep technical knowledge of Group Risk products, consulting, and administration
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the Employee Benefits marketplace
* Demonstrable success in sales, marketing, PR, and business development
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through change
Qualifications
* Preferably holds relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CII, PMI); equivalent experience will be considered
Other Requirements
* Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required
