Team Leader Jobs in Blandford Forum at 3DPLY, Stannah – Join Our Team
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join Stannah, based at our manufacturing site in Blandford Forum.
This role will involve leading and supervising a team of manufacturing operators to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You will promote health, safety and environmental standards, maintain quality and housekeeping standards, achieve production targets, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Team Leaders with materials responsibility (for example Cutting or Spraying) will also manage inventory within their operational area.
As a Team Leader, you will work Monday to Thursday hrs on a permanent contract.

To be successful as a Team Leader, it is essential that you have previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and materials management would be desirable.
Team Leader Responsibilities:
* Lead, supervise and motivate a team of manufacturing operators to achieve safety, quality and production targets
* Maintain and enforce health, safety and environmental standards, promoting a strong safety culture
* Coordinate daily manufacturing activities, monitoring KPIs and implementing corrective actions
* Support training, onboarding, performance management and development of team members
* Manage materials and inventory for your area, ensuring accurate stock control and compliance with procedures

Qualifications
Team Leader Requirements:
* Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment with leadership or supervisory responsibility
* Strong knowledge of health & safety, manufacturing processes and quality standards
* Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient computer skills with the ability to manage systems, records and performance data
* IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to work towards it (desirable)
