Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of B2C, this role will be focused on targeting prospective customers who have registered interest in starting their solar journey. The role will be managing the end-to-end sales journey for customers, owning the initial interaction, hosting virtual consultations and delivering clear concise quotations.
Key Accountabilities
* Managing customer interactions, pipeline and closing contracts
* Responds to enquiries passed through to the department on leads generated through specific sales channels
* Makes and answers all calls in a professional and knowledgeable manner
* Needs to be fully conversant with all systems to enable effective interrogation of these systems by accessing then on a daily basis for customer intelligence
* Has an in-depth knowledge of products and services, to be able to explain the features and benefits, and those of our competitors
* Takes responsibility for ensuring that accurate product information is provided to customers at all times
* Satisfies customer sales enquiries on initial call whenever possible
* Attends team meetings and contribute as necessary on their individual performance, any successes, failures, opportunities and threats
Knowledge & Experience
* Sales professionals who have an entrepreneurial spirit and are hungry for success with a desire and proven history to be able to close deals and hit individual and team targets
* Technical product knowledge (preferred but not essential) *Training will be provided
* Top-level organisational skills
* A sales background (preferably in telesales/direct)
* Known for being able to “roll up sleeves” to get work done within a scale up environment
* An interest in the renewables energy industry would be advantageous
Knowledge & Skills
* Highly literate and numerate, commercially astute
* Confidence to deal with decision makers
* Can-do mentality, pragmatic, drives for operational excellence
* High ethical standards practiced both externally and internally
* Confident and capable within the Microsoft Office environment
* Confidence operating different software platforms or the willingness to learn.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise
