As a Carer for Home Instead, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home. You will always have enough time to care as Home Instead carer, as our quality services allow a minimum visit time with clients of one hour. You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Carer. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others. Within this role there will be opportunity for personal & professional growth and development. Your onboarding will include industry leading induction processes and in-house training as well as paid e-learning modules, on completion of e-learning, you will be furnished with your Care Certificates and if you so desire, we can consider enrolment on City & Guilds NVQ level courses.
