Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist
Location: Oxford Hospital • Physiology • Permanent contract • Full time • Up to £28,750 depending on experience • 40 hours per week. We provide a broad range of surgical specialties and clinics, operate 6 well‑equipped operating theatres, and have 64 ensuite rooms for inpatient and day‑care services. Responsibilities
As an Academy Physiologist, you will:
* Join our multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals
* Complete our in‑house three‑week training course
* Help promote health and fitness as part of our holistic, comprehensive health service
* Deliver health assessments that support health and wellbeing goals
* Support prevention as well as rehabilitation and recovery
* Be passionate and caring in the service you provide, putting client's needs first
* Complete our award‑winning preceptorship programme during your first 12 months in the role
Qualifications
* Minimum 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent
* Studied human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition
* Ability to apply this knowledge in practice
Experience
* Mobile across the region of your base site
