Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics and Warehouse Manager located in Cheltenham. The Logistics and Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of our warehouses, managing inventory and stock control, and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods. The role includes coordinating with suppliers, maintaining accurate inventory records, managing operations, and supervising warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with safety regulations.
We're looking for a natural leader, who can manage and motivate a team and ensure rota's and schedules are planned effectively. The right candidate will be a proactive problem solver, able to think on their feet and actively support the team. This is an evening position, working from 11pm onwards for 40 hours per week. The position reports into the Head of Operations.
Qualifications & Experience required:
* Experience in Stock Control and Inventory Management, including m
aintaining accurate stock levels, conducting perpetual stock control, and ensuring proper product storage and rotation.
* Operations Management skills and experience in managing warehouse logistics, including o
verseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, including product movement, picking, and loading.
* Proficiency in Inventory Control and Inventory Management systems to effectively manage costs to the business
* Strong analytical skills, and the ability to present data accurately
* Forklift Operation certification and experience would be a benefit
* Management of Health & Safety regulations, including e
nforcing health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations within the warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively, in a similar position
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, coupled with great communication skills
* Relevant qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
