A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Leigh-on-Sea is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Accounts Semi-Senior or Senior to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practice experience who is looking to progress their career in a supportive and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
* Preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns
* Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members
* Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
* Assisting with ad hoc projects and advisory work
Requirements:
* AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified/qualified
* Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Proficient in cloud-based software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
* A proactive and team-oriented approach
