Unqualified Teaching Assistant
Milk Education are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in North Tyneside. The position is long-term with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
What We’re Looking For
1. You do not need to hold a formal TA qualification, however you must have:
2. Recent experience (within the last 5 years) working with children – this could be through volunteering, youth work, childcare, coaching, mentoring or school-based work.
3. A genuine passion for supporting primary-aged pupils.
4. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
5. A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
6. The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a supportive team.
Your Responsibilities May Include
7. Providing general classroom support to the teacher
8. Supporting small groups or individual pupils with learning
9. Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
10. Helping with classroom organisation and resources
11. Assisting during playtimes, transitions, and activities
12. Creating a nurturing, inclusive environment for all children
