Power Electronics Engineer – High-Power DC/DC Systems
An innovative and rapidly growing engineering company is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to join its R&D team. You'll help develop next-generation high-power DC/DC converters (2–10kW+) used in cutting-edge electrification systems across clean energy and mobility sectors.
Key Responsibilities as the Power Electronics Engineer;
* Design and develop high-power DC/DC converters from concept to manufacturing release.
* Support the Lead Electronics Engineer in resource planning, budget tracking, and project delivery.
* Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new technologies.
* Collaborate with mechanical teams to address thermal design requirements.
* Produce technical documentation: test plans, validation reports, and more.
* Drive the design process from schematics through to certification and release.
Required Skills & Experience
* Background in engineering or manufacturing environments.
* Hands-on experience with high-power DC/DC or AC/DC converters – especially buck/boost topologies.
* Familiarity with Li-Ion or lead-acid battery systems and battery integration.
* Proficient in circuit simulation tools (e.g., Simulink, MATLAB, Simetrix).
* Skilled in electronic CAD tools – Altium Designer preferred.
* Solid understanding of thermal management in electronics.
* Strong mix of theoretical knowledge and hands-on engineering.
