Job Overview
Synchrony Rehab, a subsidiary of Trilogy Health Services LLC, is seeking a licensed PRN Speech Language Pathologist at Carteret House in Newport, NC. The ideal candidate must hold an active or pending Speech Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) state license and be willing to commit 4-6 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through assessments and interviews.
* Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with measurable goals.
* Provide therapy to improve communication, swallowing, and feeding abilities.
* Educate patients and families about disorders and strategies to support progress.
* Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* Current valid state SLP licensure.
* Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
* Preferred: Current CPR certification.
* Experience: 0-1 years.
