Pay range
The salary for this role is £25,494 – £44,526 per annum, inclusive of London weighting, depending on qualifications and experience.
The Role
You will provide inspiration, skill and practical experience to students across our department's courses, contributing to the development of our course offer.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and develop lessons, including schemes of work.
* Develop and implement learner‑centred assessment methods, focusing on constructive feedback.
* Encourage, monitor and report on students' attendance, progress and achievements.
* Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforcing health and safety standards.
* Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities for designated students, supporting their development and progression.
* Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure relevance and employability.
* Actively participate in continuous professional development in theory and practice.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Hold a teaching qualification and have experience teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors.
* Strong administrative skills and ability to track students' attendance, progress and achievements accurately.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
