Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing educational activities, ensuring the wellbeing of each child, and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Duties
* Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of each child.
* Supervise and support children during playtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
* Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment that promotes professional growth.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and activities.
* Observe and assess children's development, keeping accurate records of their progress.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
* Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
