Working Hours: 45 hours per week. Working around the core hours of 8am to 6pm on a Monday to Friday basis. Flexibility to work around these hours to suit business needs

About the role:
We’re seeking an experienced stock management professional to lead stock control at West Thurrock, ensuring inventory accuracy and process integrity. This role involves precise stock counting, efficient returns processing, and adherence to procedures. Reporting to the Depot Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading a team of 3 Stock Administrators, providing guidance, performance reviews, and motivation.
* Monitoring physical inventory to minimize stock loss and ensure accurate customer invoicing.
* Managing the timely processing of returns and escalations related to non-conforming products or stock discrepancies.
* Ensuring all stock and SAP processes comply with SOPs and collaborating with the Stock Planning team.
* Investigating inventory shrinkage and providing feedback for improvements.
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.
Experience and Key Attributes:
* Previous experience in stock management and process design.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Leadership and motivational skills to manage teams and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is preferred.
