Science Technician
Permanent/Full-Time 37 hours per week, term time only

Grade 3 SCP 3-4 (Actual Salary: £20,740.64 - £21,066.08)

We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 700 employees and over 5,000 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

We are looking for a suitably qualified, motivated and enthusiastic Science Technician. Qualified candidates should be organised, self-motivated and confident as well as being extremely good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills and good IT Skills.
Your role is to support teaching staff in the development and education of students including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate. To coordinate the use and maintenance of practical resources and facilities and to provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the science curriculum.
The successful candidate should ideally have experience working in a laboratory environment, in a school setting and have a minimum of 3 GCSE’s Grade C or above or the equivalent. Please contact us with any specific questions about the post.

This role has been assessed as working in regulated activity and is subject to an Enhanced DBS plus Children’s Barred List Check.
