Minibus driver

We are looking for a reliable and caring Minibus Driver to join our team in Arnold Nottinghamshire (NG5). As a Minibus Driver, you will play a key role in transporting vulnerable adults to and from day centres, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey. A friendly nature and a caring attitude are essential for this role.

Aswell as day centre work you will also carry out an on-demand service and general routes.

The role is full-time working 37 hours per week with a Saturday rota set in place which is currently 1 in 4. An average day is usually 8am till 4.30. Saturday and over-time is paid at an enhanced rate of £19.89.

You will be based at Arnold but at times will be needed to cover other day centres, mileage allowance is paid.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Working 37 hours per week (approx 8am Start)
2. Work 1 in 4 Saturdays.
3. Safely transport passengers.
4. Ensure passengers are comfortable and secure at all times.
5. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the vehicle as needed.
6. Follow all traffic laws and adhere to company policies.
7. Provide a friendly, approachable, and caring service to passengers.
