As part of a globally recognised healthcare group, our client is revolutionising preventive medicine and community healthcare. They’re on the lookout for a Technical Support Specialist to join their growing team in Nuneaton.
About the Role
As a Technical Support Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things technical. From running laboratory quality controls to training healthcare professionals and supporting audit prep, this role is diverse, impactful, and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day lab activities, including Internal and External Quality Controls.
* Deliver structured training to healthcare professionals both online and in-person.
* Provide responsive technical support via phone, MS Teams, and email.
* Use SAP ticketing systems to manage and resolve customer queries.
* Develop SOPs, guides, presentations, and documentation.
* Assist in quality assurance testing and audit preparation (ISO 9001/ISO 13485).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve internal processes.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong organisational skills and a positive, proactive mindset.
* Experience in a lab setting is ideal, but not essential.
* Confidence in delivering clear, engaging training to varied audiences.
* Previous experience in medical devices or technical customer service is a plus.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Knowledge or experience with ISO 9001/13485 standards is advantageous.
