Data Scientist, Prime Video Forecasting Science
We are seeking a Data Scientist to develop scalable models that uncover key insights into how, why, and when customers engage with content on Prime Video. The role works closely with business stakeholders, other data scientists, and utilizes large datasets, AWS, machine learning, and forecasting models to impact content investment and selection decision making.
Key Job Responsibilities
In this role you will work closely with business stakeholders and other data scientists to develop predictive models, forecast key business metrics, dive deep on the customer and content related factors that drive engagement, and create mechanisms and infrastructure to deploy complex models and generate insights at scale.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience with machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques, and parameters that affect their performance
* Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
* Experience working as a Data Scientist
* Experience with data scripting languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R etc.) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, or Matlab)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language
* Experience in a ML or data scientist role with a large technology company
