Job Title: Nursery Kitchen Team Member
Are you passionate about preparing healthy, nutritious meals for young children? We are looking for a caring, reliable and organised Kitchen Team Member to join our friendly nursery team.
About the Role
You will play an important role in supporting children's health and wellbeing by preparing balanced meals and snacks in line with nutritional guidelines. You will ensure high standards of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals and snacks
* Catering for individual dietary requirements and allergies
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
* Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
* Managing food stock, ordering and rotation
* Completing relevant paperwork and temperature checks
What We're Looking For
* Experience working in a kitchen environment
* Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred)
* Understanding of children's dietary needs (desirable)
* Good organisational and time management skills
* A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
