Worley is currently recruiting for a QC Inspector based in Grimsby, with site visits required.

Purpose/Role
The primary role of the QC Inspector is to ensure that the approved operating procedures of Worley Field Services are fully implemented by fabrication managers, supervisors, and workforce at the Armstrong Street facilities and on client job sites where WFS are active. The QC Inspector will offer expert skills and knowledge during the development of generic and specific inspection and test plans and support a positive culture of continuous improvement.
Prime Responsibilities
* Perform front end surveillance inspection of product during manufacture and installation, including review of pertinent documentation.
* Attend specific inspections as marked in Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
* Select and identify welds to be examined and liaise with sub-contractors to ensure requested NDT is performed.
* Carry out specific coating inspections as annotated in relevant ITPs.
* Ensure ITPs are complied with and liaise with client representatives to ensure attendance at nominated intervention points.
* Generate and review all manufacturing inspection and test records and compile Manufacturing Record Books (MRB).
* Review all inspection and test reports provided by third parties.
* Assist the Senior Inspector in managing welding and welder qualifications.
* Advise the Senior QC Inspector / Quality Lead where suspected non-conformance is observed and assist in developing corrective and preventative measures.
* Gather objective evidence to support weekly/monthly quality reports.
* Carry out regular surveillance assessments as requested by the Senior QC Inspector.
* Any other tasks deemed appropriate by the business and within the competence/skills of the individual.

Essential
Qualifications and Certification required:
* Minimum of CSWIP 3.1
* Safety Passport
* Driving Licence
Desirable
* PCN level 2 in MPI / Dye Pen
* PCN Radiography Interpretation
Experience
* Demonstrable experience in similar roles
* Demonstrable commitment to always working safely
* Flexible – able to comply with company and project requirements
* Ability to work with other team members / disciplines and in a multi-cultural environment
* Confident and able to work unsupervised
* Desire to learn and develop within the role
