Join to apply for the Clinical Fellow in Public Health role at NHS Ayrshire & Arran
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated junior/early career grade doctor to participate in a one-year clinical fellowship in Public Health. This post is 0.2 (one day per week) and is designed to complement clinical work. Successful candidates will gain insight into public health principles and prevention, learning how these can apply to everyday practice. We welcome applications from individuals considering a career in Public Health or those interested in gaining a wider understanding of health care services and population health improvement.
Topics will depend on departmental needs but may include harm reduction for people with addictions, women’s health inequalities, new migrant screening, and youth vaping.
This opportunity is open to junior or early career grade doctors currently working in NHS Ayrshire and Arran.
The location is flexible, with options for remote or office-based work across Ayrshire. The day of the week can be flexible and discussed with the supervisor.
