The Falstaff Hotel has been a focus for hospitality in Canterbury for over 600 years. A traditional 15th century coaching inn, the hotel is steeped in history. Over the years the hotel has been extended through conversions on an adjacent Wood Mill and a former pub, The Tap. Located just a few steps away from the Westgate Towers, the hotel is within easy walking distance of Canterbury City centre and all that it has to offer, including the world-famous Norman Cathedral (designated a World Heritage site) castle, museums, shops and a choice of over 200 restaurants.
We are on a look out for a friendly and professional Reception team member to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will provide a warm welcome, manage check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, and respond to guest enquiries both in person and over the phone. The role involves processing payments, ensuring accurate booking information, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and resolving guest queries efficiently and courteously. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced hotel environment.
