Job Summary
We are seeking a Scientific Associate to join the Department of In Vitro Dermal Services located at Elvingston Science Centre, Gladsmuir, East Lothian (close to Edinburgh).
Key Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility will be to perform in vitro dermal studies, including setting up, conducting, data generation, and reporting of studies. Full training will be provided for all tasks and duties.
The following are minimum requirements for the Scientific Associate position:
* Graduated with a degree (or equivalent) in a Life Sciences subject or Chemistry, with relevant laboratory experience obtained either in an industrial setting or through postgraduate research.
* Effective communication skills with internal clients and colleagues.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and record data accurately.
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
The salary is £27,951.22 per annum.
