Overhaul Manager

£80,000 per annum

Your new role
1. Oversee all material deliverables associated with overhaul & projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and delivery schedules.
2. Manage supplier relationships, focusing on quality assurance, performance management, and timely issue resolution.
3. Ensure all supplier activities align with project timelines and operational requirements.
4. Manage all Class 395 overhaul and heavy maintenance activities
5. Maintain compliance with company policies and the Health & Safety at Work Act across all departmental activities.
6. Support the creation and implementation of a Competency Management System (CMS) for overhaul and heavy maintenance activities.
7. Serve as the key liaison with customers regarding fleet performance and contractual requirements.
8. Manage departmental budgets through effective resource planning and cost control.
9. Drive team development, including training, competency building, and succession planning.
10. Support the Contract Manager in identifying and developing commercial and business opportunities.
About you
11. M & E HNC or served engineering apprenticeship
12. Extensive experience working within a rail maintenance environment.
13. Sound knowledge of, and compliance to, UK and European railway rules regulations and industry standards.
14. Proven experience in people management in an operational environment.
