The Role
As a Delivery Services Officer at DHL, you’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service and the safe, timely delivery of goods across the Sydney metropolitan area. You’ll be part of a well-established business known for its reliability and commitment to excellence.
We’re looking for someone with prior experience in multi-drop delivery operations, who holds the appropriate vehicle licences and takes pride in providing a great customer experience.
What you'll do
* Complete multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently
* Load and unload vehicles in line with DHL’s safety standards
* Plan daily delivery routes for optimal efficiency
* Provide professional, friendly customer service and respond to enquiries
* Ensure secure delivery of items within designated timeframes
* Demonstrate sound knowledge of the Sydney Metro area
* Follow strict procedures for vehicle locking, inspection, and security compliance
* Accurately record all deliveries and documentation using DHL systems
What you’ll need
* Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries (essential)
* A current C Class driver’s licence and the ability to operate a manual vehicle
* Demonstrated experience in route planning and time management
* Strong face-to-face customer service and communication skills
* Accuracy in record-keeping and confidence using handheld technology
* A positive, proactive “Can Do” attitude with a focus on teamwork and safety
* Willingness to undergo a Security Clearance as part of the recruitment process
* Ability to provide a recent Driving Record upon request
