Job overview
This is a specialist allergy nursing role in a small team providing the regional commissioned service. The post-holder should already hold allergy-related competencies in desensitisation, patient education and skin prick testing. The role will provide nurse-led desensitisation, supervise biologic treatments for chronic spontaneous urticaria, provide and interpret allergy skin prick testing and assist with administrative elements of the service including high-cost drug administration, data basing, patient registries and drug ordering.

This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route however sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements set by UKVI, including the relevant skill and salary thresholds (£25000), and any role-specific criteria.

Qualifications / Experience
Essential
* NMC Registered Nurse
* Desensitisation, spirometry, FENO, allergy patient education, omalizumab, management of anaphylaxis
* Achieved key competencies required for Allergy CNS
Desirable
* Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of EDI within a Healthcare setting
* Able to work under pressure, able to concentrate and maintain high degree of accuracy clinically
