Swale Academies Trust is seeking an organised and proactive Clerk to provide high-quality administrative and governance support to the Local Governing Bodies (LGBs). This is a vital role ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, Trust policies, and effective school governance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organise and coordinate LGB meetings, including preparing agendas, papers, and accurate minutes.
* Maintain governance records, including governor details, attendance, and training logs.
* Provide procedural advice and ensure adherence to statutory and Trust requirements.
* Support governor onboarding and communication with key stakeholders.
* Assist with exclusion panels and disciplinary meetings as required.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experienced in administrative or governance roles, preferably in education.
* Discreet, diplomatic, and confident managing confidential information.
* Knowledgeable about governance regulations and best practices.
* A skilled communicator with excellent organisational ability.
