This will be a temporary to permanent opportunity with immediate start up to £30,000.
A fantastic opportunity working in a small team of two, making up to twenty calls a day and finding new business
What You'll Do:
* Market research to identify opportunities for growth as well as product development
* New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions
* Qualifying and quoting to meet client`s needs
* Supporting distribution and channel sales
* Work to achieve sales targets
* Developing sales to new and existing clients.
* Develop and maintain long-term relationships
* Providing excellent pre- and post-sales support
* Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both, client and company needs
* Management of client quotations and accounts as assigned
* Delivery of pre-sales technical assistance and product awareness to clients.
* Keep up-to-date knowledge of the competition and our position in the market space
* Use appropriate company systems and software
* Support activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
* Liaise and feedback to members of the commercial team and relevant colleagues
* Adhere and comply with all company policies, procedures and processes
* Managing the entire sales process to close new business opportunities
* Providing product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
* Submitting orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes
* Providing specialized training to client staff as required
* Complying with legal requirements by keeping abreast of existing and upcoming legislation and advising the customer on product, service, or equipment adherence to requirements
* Preparing sales engineering reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising sales information as well as engineering and application trends
* Contributing to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short term and long-range issues and recommending options and courses of action
What You Bring:
* 2-5+ years in B2B technical sales
* A positive can-do attitude who is proactive in generating new business as well as managing existing accounts
* Strong communication skills. In the role, you will be engaging with ground-level users of our equipment as well as procurement teams and director-level personnel
* A strong team worker who can collaborate with the rest of the sales team as well as other internal departments such as R&D, manufacturing and logistics
* A consultative approach with a customer-first mindset. We sell solutions not just boxes!
* A valid driving licence and own vehicle are necessary. All business miles are reimbursed as per HMRC guidelines
Bonus Points For:
* Experience in industries like ground investigation or relating to renewable energy such as biogas production
* Familiarity with CRM systems like Pipedrive
