Overview
Applicants with or without airway/anaesthetic or intensive care experience are invited for a senior‑level simulation role. The post is valid for six months, renewable, starting August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop theoretical and practical educational methods in the healthcare setting.
* Design and deliver full‑scale immersion scenarios using human patient simulators for single and interprofessional disciplines.
* Collaborate with the Director of Medical Education, Trust Lead for Simulation, and other faculty to organize and deliver training programmes for medical students, foundation doctors, specialty trainees, and healthcare workers.
* Contribute to local faculty development courses and attend business unit meetings to gain service management experience.
* Undertake research projects in educational methods and medical simulation; work with HEKSS in the field of medical simulation.
* Attend local and national meetings on medical education and patient safety initiatives. Possession of a teaching qualification is highly encouraged.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in simulation‑based education or airway/anaesthetic intensive care background (Applicants with or without prior experience are considered)
* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
* Strong communication and organizational skills
