About The Role
The FP&A Manager plays a pivotal role within the UK FP&A team, overseeing event reporting across the RX UK business unit. This position is responsible for managing the financial reporting process for a portfolio of events and serves as a trusted business partner to key stakeholders, including event and portfolio leaders as well as senior management.

The role is critical in delivering financial insights, forecasting, and strategic guidance to support decision-making at the highest levels. The FP&A Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies are aligned with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities include reviewing financial data and reports, providing insightful analysis, and advising on financial decisions related to budgeting, forecasting, and actuals. The role also involves overseeing commentary on financial movements and ensuring clarity and accuracy in all financial communications.

Responsibilities

* Support event leaders in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans aligned with organisational goals.
* Ensure accurate reconciliation and loading of budgets and forecasts into relevant systems.
* Serve as the primary finance contact for assigned events, collaborating across sales, marketing, portfolio, operations, and credit control.
* Report actual event performance in line with IFRS standards.
* Provide clear, insightful commentary on event performance for senior management.
* Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations during audits.
* Monitor financial data to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Requirements

* Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with financial ERP systems; Oracle/Hyperion is a plus.
* Ability to interpret financial data and apply IFRS or equivalent standards.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Solid understanding of financial systems and data structures.
* Proactive and accountable, with a commitment to high-quality, timely work.
* Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills.
