Successful candidates will provide support to the nursing team on the nursing management of patients with a known or suspected infection and deliver specific aspects of care. You should be able to work well as part of a large and diverse multidisciplinary team including our Infection Control Team, OPAT, and Tissue Viability teams to name a few. Candidates should have excellent care values and a strong sense of team spirit coupled with a sense of humour. Candidates should have enthusiasm to work, learn and develop yourself and colleagues within an exciting and challenging high pressure environment.

Essential Criteria:

1. Assistant Practitioners are required to have completed a relevant qualification at SCQF level 7-8 or above. Examples of common qualifications include Higher National Certificate/Diploma (HNC/D) or Professional Development Award (PDA) at Level 8.
