Attendance and Admissions Officer

Hours: 30 hours per week, 8am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday, Term time only.
Salary: NJC Scale 4, points 7-11- £18,394 - £19,605
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Attendance and Admissions Officer to join our team. This is a vital and complex role working with key stakeholders including Worcestershire County Council.
Do you have the skills to:
* Monitor daily pupil attendance and punctuality. Maintain accurate and up to date pupil attendance records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
* Work closely with staff, pupils, and families to address attendance concerns.
* Manage the admissions process, including maintaining accurate pupil records, processing applications, and liaising with the Local Authority and other stakeholders.
* Produce reports and data analysis to support senior leaders and statutory requirements.
* Provide a professional and welcoming first point of contact for parents, carers, and visitors regarding attendance and admissions.
Experience of working in a school or as an attendance / admissions officer is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
