Looking for a hands-on Warehouse Operative role with consistent weekday hours and an early Friday finish?
This Warehouse Operative position offers an immediate start within a busy Logistics and Warehouse environment, ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and structured routines.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will benefit from:
* Immediate start available
* Monday to Thursday working hours of 8am to 5pm
* Early finish on Fridays at 2:30pm
* No weekend working
* Stable, long-term opportunity in a stock-heavy environment
* Opportunity to use and develop forklift skills
As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:
* Operating forklifts to move, load, and organise stock safely
* Booking in deliveries and updating internal stock systems
* Picking, packing, wrapping, and preparing orders for dispatch
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised goods in and goods out area
* Identifying stock shortages and reporting discrepancies
As a Warehouse Operative, your experience will include:
* Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or manufacturing environment
* Ability to carry out heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
* Experience driving a forklift, ideally counterbalance
* A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence or Reach Forklift Licence is preferred
* Basic computer skills for stock control and booking systems
