A leading Tier 1 building services contractor is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Planner to join the delivery team on a major hyperscale data centre project located in East London. The successful candidate will take full ownership of MEP planning activities across pre-construction, construction and commissioning, providing programme leadership and strategic planning support to ensure all mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project milestones.
This role requires strong experience in mission-critical environments, deep understanding of MEP installation sequencing, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on a fast-paced, technically demanding project.
Requirements :
· Extensive experience as an MEP Planner, ideally at Senior level, within data centres, mission-critical or high-technology projects.
· Strong understanding of large-scale mechanical and electrical installation processes.
· Proficiency in Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera P6.
· Experience planning commissioning activities and coordinating multiple specialist vendors.
· Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strict deadlines.
· Prior experience on hyperscale or multi-MW data centre projects highly advantageous.
