Care Assistant - Days
Salary: £13.10ph (£12.10 for 18-21 year olds)
Hours: Full Time (7am-7pm, 3-4 shifts per week to include alternate weekends)
Location: Oxendon House Care Home, Market Harborough, LE16 8NE
About the Role
* You will join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible level of care in supporting and assisting residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
* You will be responsible for promoting residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
* You will complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
* Ensure you are 100% current with all mandatory training throughout the year.
Requirements
* Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
* Residing 30 minutes or less near to the care home.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Written and oral communication skills.
* A caring and nurturing attitude.
* A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
* Time management and organisational skills.

Oxendon House is located in the quaint village of Great Oxendon, 3 miles south of Market Harborough. The home is set around an attractive country house, selectively extended in keeping with its character to provide homeliness while still offering modern living accommodation. It provides personal and dementia care for 43 residents.
