Job Description:
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a crucial role in helping our clients develop essential skills and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
* Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA
* Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
* Assist with functional behavior assessments and skill assessments
* Provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy to clients in a home setting
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including BCBAs, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists
* Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
* Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Requirements:
* Registered Behavior Technician Certification or Behavior Technician strongly preferred.
* Minimum of 6 months experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred)
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Ability to pass a background check
* Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping improve the lives of clients
* High school diploma or equivalent
