SEMH Specialist School – Wigan – MPS – Full-Time – September Start

A specialist SEMH school in Wigan (ages 11-19) is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team from September. Children at this school have a range of SEN needs including ADHD, ADD, ASD and more. With an emphasis on trauma-informed practice and behaviour management, this role is ideal for candidates wanting to make a genuine impact in their day-to-day job role. Offer children with SEMH a pathway to independence and be a positive role model.

The Role – SEN Teacher
You will deliver engaging lessons to pupils with SEMH needs, supporting them to re-engage with education and develop both academically and personally. You will implement behaviour strategies, adapt the curriculum, and build strong relationships with pupils who require consistent support.
This SEN Teacher role offers a unique opportunity to change lives-supporting young people to overcome challenges, achieve success, and move towards independent, positive futures.
