About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Purchasing Manager to join our Purchasing team. You’ll play a critical role in managing the purchasing cycle, from forecasting demand to negotiating pricing with our suppliers. You’ll work closely with our suppliers and internal teams to ensure purchase orders are accurate and that inventory is maintained in line with business requirements. The ideal candidate whether in a managerial position currently or not, will have proven experience in purchasing and is comfortable managing supplier relationships, maintaining accurate system information and work to tight timelines. Key Responsibilities Manage purchase orders via the portal, ensuring stock is ordered to ROL and run-rate stock is maintained. Liaise with vendors to maintain accurate backorder reports and take proactive action to source stock on commercially favourable terms. Communicate findings to the wider business promptly. Maintain and manage the product database, ensuring accurate and uniform product creation with complete attribute data. Build and maintain strong relationships with all Titan vendors and suppliers. Ensure all stock rotations are executed and shipped by quarter-end. Ensure timely raising of all associated support contracts. Process all RMA requests and returns to vendors efficiently and within agreed timelines. Negotiate special pricing opportunities wherever applicable. Ensure all purchase orders are accurate and aligned with business needs. Forecast demand trends using historical data and sales projections to optimize purchasing decisions. Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements. Skills & Experience Essential: At least 2 years of experience in purchasing. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, this is a must for this role. Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes.
