We exist to connect agriculture and champion rural businesses, helping them win more business and build stronger brands.
Key Accountabilities
* Prospecting & building new relationships - Identify, research and approach right-fit prospects for Hillsgreen. Build meaningful relationships with decision-makers across the agri and rural economy, including business owners, MDs, marketing leads and referral partners.
* Creating & pitching proposals - Understand a prospect’s business, commercial goals, challenges, opportunities and audience. Work with the wider Hillsgreen team to create clear, commercially sound proposals that show how Hillsgreen can drive performance.
* Winning new business - Confidently move prospects through the sales process, handle objections, negotiate where needed and close right-fit opportunities that create profitable new business revenue for Hillsgreen.
* New business communication, reporting and CRM administration - Keep communication clear, timely and professional throughout the sales journey. Maintain accurate CRM records, report on pipeline activity, and make sure the team has visibility of opportunities, next steps and revenue forecasts.

* Commercial awareness - You must have the ability to understand the commercials, what is driving the business success and how we could support the growth
* Relationship-building ability - You are comfortable building trust with people at different levels of seniority.
* Digital Marketing knowledge - You do not need to be a channel specialist, but you do need to understand how digital marketing supports business growth
* Negotiation - You can find the win-win
* Organisation - You can manage multiple leads, conversations and proposals without things falling through the cracks.
