A Live-in Nanny is needed by this wonderful family based in Whitchurch, Hampshire to help them look after their two school-aged children. They are seeking someone committed and ambitious, with a background in teaching being a desirable advantage. A strong history of longevity in previous roles is highly valued. The role involves all general childcare duties. A driver who holds a full driving license is required for this role.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Term time; split shift from 7:00 am to 9:00 am then 3:30 pm until 6:30 pm, approximately 35 hours per week, while on school holidays it will be full-time
Accommodation: Separate annex with own room/bathroom, and kitchen.
Duties include:
Bathing the children and ensuring they maintain good personal hygiene
Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outings such as park visits
Encouraging early literacy through regular reading sessions
Assisting with homework and supporting the children’s academic progress
Establishing and maintaining consistent routines to promote healthy structure and development
Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children, and occasionally for the whole family
