Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide specialized support in a middle and high school setting. This role involves working three days per week, serving approximately 37 students with varied speech and language needs. The position offers an opportunity to apply expertise in educational speech therapy within a contractual framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
* Deliver targeted speech and language therapy sessions to support students communication skills.
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the academic environment.
* Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and standards.
* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and support student transition planning.
Qualifications:
* Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) with licensure to practice in school settings.
* Experience working with middle and high school students preferred.
* Strong understanding of school-based speech-language therapy protocols and special education regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families.
