The Role
We are seeking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Support Officer to be part of the newly established Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (ICRIR).
Reporting to the Resourcing Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment process from start to finish. You will help us successfully deliver both partial and end-to-end resourcing campaigns, including volume resourcing campaigns, rolling campaigns and ad-hoc projects to support business needs. You will help deliver effective resourcing solutions for our new and fast-developing organisation. This role also plays a key part in monitoring and supporting the organisation’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in recruitment practices. Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding.
* Support pre-employment checks including references, right-to-work, background verification and contract issue
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
* Work together with HR colleagues to support workload and share knowledge and best practice.
* Respond to recruitment related queries in a timely and professional manner.
* Engaging regularly and effectively with candidates to ensure they have a positive onboarding experience
* Ensure equality and diversity data is collected consistently and sensitively during the recruitment process
* Maintain secure and confidential records of equality monitoring information. Ensure compliance with data protection and equal opportunities legislation.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience of working in recruitment on high level recruitment campaigns with an understanding of relevant legislation.
* Collaborative team player with a customer-focused approach.
* Strong organisational skills with high level attention to detail and confidentiality.
* Ability to co-ordinate and support on several tasks within set deadlines showing resilience in challenging situations.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Computer literate with experience of working with the Microsoft office package.
* Demonstrate the values set out in the ICRIR Code of Conduct.
* Willingness to be assessed against the requirements for CTC clearance, if not already cleared.
Desirable Criteria
* Membership of CIPD or willing to work towards same.
* Previous experience working with recruitment ATS systems
* Experience of managing equality and diversity data
