What you'll do
This role exists to develop your technical capability while contributing to real engineering problems from day one. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and scientists, applying theory in a practical environment while building the foundations of a long-term engineering career.
Day-to-day, you could be working in any of the following areas:
1. Contributing to research and development activities across sonar and underwater platform signature domains
2. Supporting the development of hardware, software and sensing systems
3. Assisting with signal processing, data analysis and algorithm development
4. Carrying out modelling and simulation of underwater environments and system behaviour
5. Working with signal processing, image analysis, data science and machine learning
