Salary: £46,865.77 per annum (Inclusive of Standby Payment) + Overtime + Travel Time + Benefits

The Opportunity:
Are you a qualified Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) looking for a stable, long-term role with a leading national FM provider? We have an excellent opportunity to join our team supporting one of the UK’s major supermarket clients, covering multiple retail stores across Shrewsbury, Wrexham and Wellington.
This is a field-based role where you’ll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on commercial heating and cooling systems. You’ll be working as part of a wider engineering team and will be required to participate in a 1 in 4-week call-out rota, with all standby and travel time paid.

Your Key Responsibilities:
*
Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites
*
Servicing and repairing HVAC equipment: boilers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, fans
*
Completing minor mechanical installations and system upgrades
*
Diagnosing non-repairable faults and advising on system replacements
*
Ordering spare parts and managing site documentation via PDA system
*
Building positive working relationships with store staff and colleagues
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
*
SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Heating, Ventilation, Mechanical or HVAC (or equivalent)
*
ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A
*
Experience working on a mobile or multi-site basis in a commercial setting
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces
*
Flexible to take part in a 1-in-4 standby rota (with additional pay)
Desirable (Not Essential):
*
ACS Domestic Gas: CCN, CENWAT, CPA
*
F-Gas Category 1 (City & Guilds 2079-1)
*
18th Edition Wiring Regs (City & Guilds 7671)
Locations Covered:
This is a mobile role, and you must be based in or near Shrewsbury, Wrexham or Wellington, with flexibility to travel to surrounding areas.
